This beautiful sugar skull pendant is actually a unique cremation vial, a discreet way to stay close to the remains of your dearly departed. The skull is made of silver plated bronze. A discreetly placed screw (see second picture) can be removed from the bottom of the skull revealing a small chamber that will contain a small amount of cremated ashes of a departed love one that you wish to eternally keep close to you. After filling, the chamber must be permanently sealed by applying "lock-tight" or nail polish to the threads before closing to prevent the screw from falling out. The precise carving is deeply incised an exhibits beautiful detail and is a real show stopper. It is cast in solid white bronze that has been heavy silver plated to four microns thick, that's twice as thick as the industry standard. After plating it is oxidized then skillfully hand burnished to a stunning antique sterling finish making it look like an instant heirloom.
